A Taste of African Music
As part of the campaign to launch this site and raise awareness of HIV issues amongst
the African community, a compilation mix CD was put together by DJ Abass featuring some of Africa's greatest danceacts over the past three decades. It features the artists King Masco, Koffi Olomide,Bunny Mack, Nico Mbarga, J.B. Mpiana, Awilo, Arrow, De Champ, Sweet Africa, Kwam 1 and others.This CD cuts across Africa presenting music styles of Mapouka, Ndombolo, Soukous, Rhumba, Calypson and Fuji.
